Configuring your Kernel Cloud account

When you purchase a Kernel system an organization account is established in Kernel Cloud, Kernel’s cloud-based account and data management system.
Use the Kernel Cloud Researcher Portal to manage your account, your research team, studies, and data streams.
To access your Kernel Cloud account:
- Using any web browser, go to portal.kernel.com
- Enter your username (email address) and password.

Refer to your purchase confirmation email for the username associated with your organization's account.
- Click Organizations in the upper right corner of the screen.
The Organization Home page opens.
This page is where you manage your studies, view recorded sessions, and manage the organization’s account settings, including adding researchers to your team, and managing the devices assigned to your organization.
To change your password:
- From any page in the Researcher Portal, click the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the window.
The Profile page opens. - In the right column, find the Password section and click the Edit icon.
The Change Password dialog opens - Enter your old password, and your new password (twice).
- Minimum 8 characters
- One uppercase letter
- One lowercase letter
- One number
To switch between organizations:
- From any page in the Researcher Portal, click the Organizations link in the upper right corner of the window.
The Organizations page opens.
- Click the name for the organization you want to modify from the Organizations List.
You are logged into the selected organization.
To log out of Kernel Cloud:
- From any page in theResearcher Portal, click the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the window.
The Profile screen opens. - Click the Sign Out button.
