Managing data streams

A data stream is the source of data recorded during a session. Data streams are typically a Kernel device, or a survey, but in the future could also include 3rd party recording devices (such as a heart rate monitor or Whoop strap.

Every study must have at least one data stream associated with it. If your organization has only one Kernel device, it will be automatically assigned to the study when the study is created.

Data streams which are surveys can be added to a study, removed from a study, or hidden, which removes the survey from all participants' Kernel App accounts.
