- To remove the headset from the Headset Stand:
- Release the Tension Dial by turning it counterclockwise.
- Grasp the Ear Covers from the bottom and pull them out to loosen the headset fully.
- Lift the headset off of the Stand.
- To put the headset back on the Headset Stand:
- While holding the headset by the Ear Covers, approach the Headset Stand from behind.
- Place the bottom rim of the frontal plate inside the lip of the Headset Stand.
- Gently lay the headset down from front to back, releasing the Ear Covers as the Locking Notches snap onto the the Locking Clips on the Stand.
The headset should always be kept tightly tensioned
Loosening should only be done temporarily to get the headset on and off of the Headset Stand or a participant's head. The headset should always be tightened when resting on the Headset Stand.
- To tighten, turn the Tension Dial clockwise until it just begins to resist further tension.
- To loosen, first turn the Tension Dial a half-turn counterclockwise to release the tension. Then pull the Ear Covers as far as they can stretch to fit the headset on or off of a support element or a head.
